Rising tensions in Mideast

US should refrain from igniting another fire in the Middle East

SHIKARPUR: The US and Iran are currently on the verge of outbreak of another deadly war. Undoubtedly, Washington directly or indirectly is escalating the dispute with Iran. The recent statement twists of US National Security Adviser John Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo show that the US is applying every possible tactic to pressure Iran into surrendering before its demands over its nuclear programme. Unfortunately, after Afghanistan and Iraq, the US is once again following the same policy of confrontation.

With warring factions still seeking solutions to the civil wars in Syria, Yemen and other war-stricken regions, it would be wise if the US does not bog itself down into another conflict. The Trump administration needs to do away with its war rhetoric.

So in view of the above-mentioned facts, it is necessary that the US should refrain from igniting another fire in the Middle East after destruction in Iraq and Afghanistan. Donald Trump is carrying out a proxy war in the Middle East in collaboration with his allies India and Israel.
