Employment prospects

I hope employers start considering well-rounded candidates instead of just those who can score well

TURBAT: It is sad to see numerous graduates, who had sacrificed their night and day for the sake of their future, are now unemployed. They worked hard to seek a qualification and learn new skills and yet are now jobless, while those who did not attend any schools or colleges have secured jobs by appearing for examinations privately. It seems that in our country a student’s skills and other achievements do not matter, as long as one can score good marks in exams at the end of the year, as that is all that counts. I hope employers start considering well-rounded candidates instead of just those who can score well, as marks are not the only indication of one’s intelligence.
