Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said the devolution of the five ministries to provinces will be completed by June 30.
The statement came after Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif's letter to PM Gilani in which he had expressed serious reservations over the pace and manner in which the administrative devolution is being carried out.
The prime minister said the process of devolution is in its last last phase and a special cabinet meeting has been called for Tuesday in this regard.
Gilani has assured the Punjab government that it will resolve all issues through a consensus.
So far, five ministries have been transferred to the provinces in two phases while the third phase is yet to be initiated.
