Koral: One killed as tractor runs over motorbike

Mazhar Hayat was travelling on a motorbike when a tractor hit him from behind, killing him on the spot.

ISLAMABAD:

A man died in an accident when a tractor ran over a motorbike on Lehtrar Road near Khanna area.

Muhammad Aslam told the Koral Police that his cousin Mazhar Hayat was travelling on a motorbike when a tractor bearing registration number FLD 7327 hit him from behind, killing him on the spot. The body was later shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for autopsy.

The police have impounded the tractor, while the driver managed to flee the scene. The police have registered a case and started looking for the driver.

Meanwhile, unknown men stole cash, jewellery, four cell phones and other valuable items from a house in Korang Town on Sunday.

Nasir Hussain Khawaja registered an FIR with the Koral Police, saying that unknown thieves broke into his house and stole valuable items worth Rs100,000 rupees.

The police have registered a case and started investigations.
