Shortly after the new parents revealed the name of their newborn, the royal family ensured that he would be warmly welcomed into the lineage by creating his own page on their website.
Though the gesture itself was sweet, there was one small error that stuck out: the royal family introduced the newborn as the “first child of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge” aka Prince William and Kate Middleton, whereas Prince Harry and Meghan are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Yikes.
Of course, royal fans were quick to pick up on the error and made light of the situation on social media.
“I think I speak for all of us who have been working on the Baby Sussex Story when I say that mistakes happen to the best of us when we’re tired!” Editor of Harpar Bazaar US, Omid Scobie, tweeted, who screenshotted the typo on the website.

The couple revealed Queen Elizabeth's husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, had got a sneak preview in a chance encounter in the corridors of Windsor Castle.
"We just bumped into the Duke as we were walking by, which was so nice," said Meghan. "It'll be a nice moment to introduce the baby to more family."
