RAWALPINDI: Punjab government has approved two new tourist spots in Kotli Sattian tehsil of district Rawalpindi. The tourist spots in Danoi and Chewra would become operational at the beginning of new year. The government would build wide roads and jogging tracks as well as install chair lifts to attract tourists. Both places are filled with scenic natural beauty and known locally as beautiful valleys. Altitudes of both spots are higher than Murree while they remain covered in snow during winters. The area is surrounded by lush green forests and waterfalls. The tourist spots will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Punjab and Prime Minister. The MNA of area, Sadaqat Abbasi, told that this measure would bring thousands of employment opportunities for locals.
