Twitter's absolute best for Met Gala 2019

Met Gala 2019 saw stars descend on the pink carpet in a variety of wild outfits.

This year’s theme was 'Camp: Notes on Fashion', inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay, which documented the definitions of campness and its affiliated aesthetics.



Not all of this year’s attendees seemed to understand the theme, but did that stop them from going hell for leather when it came to conjuring the most outlandish, head-turning looks?

Absolutely not. Naturally, the boldest looks inspired many a memes, so much so that this might have been the most meme-able Met Gala of all time.
