Faris Shafi rejects Lux Style Awards nomination

Rapper's collaboration with Talal Qureshi, 'Clap' was nominated for Best Song

The Lux Style Awards boycott continues as Faris Shafi has asked the organisers to remove his song, Clap, from Best Song nominations. The song also features another artist, Talal Qureshi.

Taking to Twitter, the singer-cum-actor wrote, "Requesting that the following track, which has been nominated for ‘Best Song’ at the Lux Style Awards be removed from the list of nominees."

He further shared, "Talal Qureshi and I are neither attending, nor endorsing the awards."


Earlier, multiple celebs either rejected their nominations, including Meesha Shafi, Eman Suleman, The Sketches, Generation, Saima Bargfrede, Fatima Nasir.
