ABBOTTABAD: A police constable was arrested for killing two people in accidental firing. Constable Abdul Khaliq got drunk at a wedding and started aerial firing in jubilation.

However, being under the influence of alcohol, he could not control his weapon and hit four guests. Two died on the spot and two were injured. Abdul Khaliq was arrested by the Bagnother police on the charges of murder of two and injury to two at the village Sarbhana in Bagnother police station.

The deceased included Abid Khan and Saqib Khan both aged 22 ) and injured were Khursheed and Munsif Khan who both were shifted to Ayub Medical complex and were admitted in the hospital and conditions of both are not stable. SHO Bagnother police station Inspector Riaz Khan immediately arrested the accused who is constable in Abbottabad police and was serving in Nawan Sher Area.
