Traffic police facilitate transporters and support them in all their wrongdoings
KARACHI: The traffic police are supposed to prevent high-handedness by transporters. But we see them facilitating transporters and supporting them in all their wrongdoings.
They see buses and trucks over-speeding but do nothing. They see violations of traffic rules and remain unmoved. As a result, serious traffic accidents occur regularly.
The police do likewise in most cases. Who will get things right? Are there no menders of bad souls? Are we fated to live like this forever?
