Rumours of Mahira making it official with her apparent boyfriend have been making the rounds after India Today published a story on the subject.

"In the latest photo that has found its way to the net, Mahira and Salim (her alleged beau) are dressed in formal attire and are standing close to each other. This picture is reportedly from a party where the two were spotted dancing together. Rumour has it that they engaged in some PDA as well," the media outlet stated.

In a recent development, sources close to the Raees starlet has turned down the rumours while talking to The Express Tribune. "It's just a rumour. She was there for a friend's wedding and that's all," revealed the insider. Mahira shared a picture from the wedding on her Instagram handle as well.

The beauty was previously linked to Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor. In 2017, the gossip mill went ablaze when the duo was spotted sharing a "romantic bond" and news surrounding their relationship culminating into more than just a "casual friendship" made headlines. Soon after, both superstars denied the reports. Ranbir then confirmed his relationship with fellow actor Alia Bhatt.
