Diplomats briefed on Pakistan’s counter-terror efforts
In a tweet, the prime minister termed the cross-border incursion a "condemnable terrorist attack" and lauded the bravery and sacrifices of Pakistani soldiers in combating terrorists.

Three Pakistani soldiers were martyred and seven others were injured in a terrorist attack along the Pak-Afghan border on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR), a group of 60 to 70 terrorists operating “from bases in Afghanistan” attacked Pakistani troops engaged in fencing operations along the border in Alwara, North Waziristan.

Scores of terrorists were also killed and injured as the army responded, according to the military’s media wing.
In the exchange of fire three soldiers, Lance Naik Ali, Lance Naik Nazeer and Sepoy Imdadullah embraced martyrdom.
