Multiculturalism makes a society diverse
A workshop has been organised by the Afghan Studies Center in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD:
The concept of diversity is explicitly inclusive in Islam with people directed to treat one another with respect for each other’s beliefs and without any discrimination.
This was stated by renowned international speaker, social activist, lawyer and anthropologist Humaira Masihuddin while speaking at the 12th Youth Training Workshop for Afghan and Pakistani youth. The workshop had been organised by the Afghan Studies Center (ASC) in Islamabad.
Islam is a religion of tolerance and coexistence, love and peace for others regardless of their religion or ethnicity, said Masihuddin.
