The Sindh Assembly rejected the adjournment motion moved by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Arsalan Taj against the Sindh Building Control Authority officials for allowing illegal constructions in the city. The session on Tuesday only took up two private bills submitted by the PTI and preceded to the question and answer session before it was adjourned till Thursday.
Two private bills submitted by PTI MPA Rabia Azfar Nizami on the control of narcotics substances and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Rana Ansar on water management were referred to standing committees for review.
Other topics on the agenda that were not taken up included public interest issues and others.
