NA speaker notifies parliamentary panel on security
The panel will also deliberate on transition from military courts to civil courts

The National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser on Friday notified a new parliamentary panel – the Parliamentary Committee on National Security – to discuss after every 15 days status of implementation on the National Action Plan (NAP) against terrorism.
The committee, to be chaired by the speaker, includes parliamentary leaders of all political parties having presence in the National Assembly or the Senate. According to the notification, the parliamentary committee will also discuss matter related to the national security.
The panel will also deliberate on transition from military courts to civil courts and submit reports based on its suggestions to both houses of the parliament for further discussion. The committee has been notified after the Senate and the National Assembly approved the motion for its formation.
Qaiser seeks smooth proceedings of NA
The members include Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Shehbaz Sharif, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Azam Swati, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Tariq Bashir Cheema, Sheikh Rashid, Akhtar Mengal, Khalid Magsi, Asad Masood, Ghous Bux Mahar, Shah Zain Bugti, Amir Haider Hoti, Mushahid Ullah Khan, Sherry Rehman, Barrister Saif, Mir Hasil Bizenjo, Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Sirajul Haq, Usman Khan Kakar, Sitara Ayaz, Jehanzeb Jamaldini, Muzaffar Hussain Shah, Anwar ul Haq Kakar and Aurangzeb.
