PM Imran to visit South Waziristan today

Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to visit South Waziristan today as part of his government's agenda to uplift the country's tribal areas, Radio Pakistan reported.
During the visit, the premier will address a public gathering in the district's largest town of Wana. He is also expected to announce development projects for the district.

The tribal elders of South Waziristan have welcomed PM Imran's visit.
On April 19, the prime minister visited Orakzai district of Khyber Pakhtunwa (K-P) and announced welfare projects for the tribal people.
The premier also visited Bajaur and Mohmand districts in March.
