Development in villages

I hope the respective governments invest in the infrastructures and we see these areas progressing soon

JATH, BALOCHISTAN: A recent visit to my hometown of Jath, a small village near Balnigwar, left me highly disturbed. The primary school is in an extremely poor condition, and lacks all sorts of facilities such as furniture, bathrooms, drinking water, appropriate teaching tools and qualified teachers. As there is no school for girls, both boys and girls have been transferred to a single classroom where they all sit on the cold floor due to the absence of desks and chairs.

A conversation with a teacher revealed that this school had the highest enrolment rate and supervisors had visited and promised provision of the facilities. I personally spoke to students of fifth grade and was surprised to know they were still unaware of the basic alphabets.

I hope the respective governments invest in the infrastructures and we see these areas progressing soon.
