Folk Music: Sindhi music academy established
Students will be taught to sing and play folk instruments such as the algozo and ektara.
HYDERABAD:
The Sindh culture department established a music academy at Mehran Arts Council in collaboration with the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Development Programme. Students will be taught to sing and play folk instruments such as the algozo and ektara. The classes for the six-month certificate course will begin from the third week of July. Admitted candidates will be paid a stipend and offered free accommodation.
