Formula One: ‘Ferrari still in title race’

VALENCIA: Fernando Alonso said he still believes Ferrari can take the fight to rivals Red Bull and win this year’s Formula One world championships. The 29-year-old Spaniard, now in his second season with the Italian team, has had a disappointing start this year and is currently 92 points adrift of defending drivers’ champion Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull. But the two-time champion said he is in the best form of his life and insisted there is still room for a resurgence if Ferrari improve the performance of their car to match his personal efforts.
