Police Martyrs Day was observed on Sunday to pay tribute to police officers who sacrificed their lives defending the nation.
Kahuta Police organised a function to pay tributes to the martyrs. A police contingent presented a salute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives while fighting to maintain law and order in society.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Saud Khan said, martyrs are alive and would be remembered forever. Police officials have remained at the forefront in the war against terrorism and rendered numerous sacrifices, he added.
