Govt to facilitate Hindu pilgrims in Lasbela

Final plan to be submitted by April 25

QUETTA: The Balochistan government on Saturday decided to ensure the provision of all facilities to Hindu pilgrims attending the religious festival at the Hinglaj Temple in Lasbela.

Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has directed the communication, tourism and religious affairs departments to prepare a comprehensive plan regarding facilities available and required for the Hindu pilgrims.

Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs Dinesh Kumar will submit the final plan by April 25, while the government has also announced it will allocate funds for the development of infrastructure and other facilities for the pilgrims.

Thousands of Hindus from across the country flock to Balochistan’s popular tourism spot of Hinglaj to participate in the annual Hindu festival.
