Spurious medicines have caused the death of many people
TURBAT: Fake medicines are openly being sold in Turbat, despite numerous complaints lodged with the relevant authorities. Spurious medicines have caused the death of many people besides resulting in complications to those suffering from ordinary ailments.
Such medicines are being supplied from other cities. Even counterfeit insulin and many other spurious medicines carrying the labels of big pharmaceutical companies are being sold. I urge the provincial government and the authorities concerned in Makran division to carry out strict inspection of warehouses of medicine distributors and medical stores to save human life. The government should act without any further delay as it is a matter involving human life.
