PHOTO: INSTAGRAMThe Tanhaiyaan star has been busy shooting in London for the new web series. Asif will be sharing the screen with actors David Bradley and Ray Pathaki. The forthcoming show is reportedly a 10-episode series and the release date is yet to be announced.
Asif is one of the most renowned artists in Pakistan who has been in the industry since the 1980s. Now, his son Ahad Raza Mir is carrying on the legacy as he has become one of the most celebrated actors in Pakistan's film industry.
PHOTO: INSTAGRAM/ AHAD RAZA MIRThe two were recently in Canada for Ahad's performance in a theatre play of Shakespeare's Hamlet. The Parwaaz Hai Junoon star has garnered much praise and critical acclaim for the performance.
His Aangan co-star Sajal Aly previously expressed her pride by sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram. “Ahad, I have to admit that there’s nobody like you. Playing Hamlet is an accomplishment. The language, the emotions and the impact of the character was so well portrayed,” she said. “Out of all the performances of any actor I’ve ever witnessed, your Hamlet was easily one of the BEST. Please bring the show to Pakistan so that everyone can see the finest actor we have.”
