Four sentenced to death for G-B boy's gang-rape, murder

The convicts also slapped with Rs300,000 fine each

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) awarded four men with death sentence for the rape and murder of a minor boy in Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B), Express News reported on Tuesday.

The culprits – who have been identified as Hanan, Noor Azam, Noor Mohammad and Umer – have also been slapped with a Rs300,000 fine each.

In February this year, Dedar Hussain was gang-raped and then killed.



In a similar incident on March 31, a man gunned down a 14-year-old boy after he put resistance to an attempted rape in Rawalpindi.

In the same month, a seven-year-old boy’s body was found by locals in a pile of trash after he was sexually abused prior to being strangled to death in Haripur’s Khanpur area.
