Our continued summers of discontent will soon become a thing of the past
KARACHI: As we know China has been helping us grow economically as well as in power generation, by building several energy-producing projects. Unfortunately, even after the completion of some of these projects, people living in areas covered by new power projects are still suffering from electricity shortage, commonly known as load shedding. Despite the promises made by the government, people continue to suffer due to an insufficient supply of electricity especially in summer months when temperatures are high. I hope things will improve and power cuts will come to an end. We should be optimistic in this regard. Our continued summers of discontent will soon become a thing of the past.
