According to the CTD personnel, the remains of the suicide bomber will undergo DNA testing whereas help has been sought from the National Database and Registration Authority to determine the identity of the terrorist.
“Geo-fencing of the blast site will be conducted soon,” the officials added. “A complete forensics of the tidbits of the suicide vest can determine which group is behind the attack.”

On Saturday, Da’ish claimed responsibility for the attack.
On Friday, at least 20 people were killed and 48 others injured in a blast believed to be targeting the Hazara community in Quetta's Hazar Ganji Sabzi Mandi.
Ten people of the Hazara community, a Frontier Corps official and two children were among the dead.
Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the attack and sought a report from the authorities. He directed the government to ensure the injured received the best medical care available.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan also condemned the attack and expressed solidarity with the victims. He promised swift action against the perpetrators of the incident and directed authorities to ensure the injured were provided quality medical treatment.
Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai also condemned the attack and urged the law enforcement agencies to increase security and arrest the terrorist elements.
Blocking roads won’t help eliminate terrorism: Rind
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind has said the enemy is blocking Pakistan’s path to stability by fuelling sectarian violence therefore instead of blocking roads we must support the government in eradicating terrorism from the country.
He shared these views while visiting the Trauma Centre here on Sunday, where he met the injured from Friday’s Hazar Ganji blast and pledged quality treatment for them.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken serious notice of the Quetta and Chaman blasts and has directed the provincial government to ensure quality treatment for the injured victims,” said Rind adding the federal government is also taking relevant briefings regarding the blast from all investigation departments.
Special Assistant to CM Balochistan Mubeen Khilji, Former Minister Amir Ali Rind, PTI leaders Nawabzada Shareef Jogezai, Nawabza Ameenullah Raisani and Babar Yousafzai accompanied the premier’s special assistant during his trip.
“We are passing through a very sensitive era where enemies are attempting to halt stability in Pakistan but their coward acts can’t stop our country from development and prosperity,” he said.
Replying to a query regarding Hazara community’s sit-in at the western bypass Rind said the federal government is in contact with the provincial government and coalition partners over negotiations with the protesting Hazara community and will soon be able to convince protesters to end their sit-in.
“No one can pledge full security for masses anywhere in the world, all nations and sects were affected by terrorism but people protesting against terrorism should join governments’ hand in eradicating this menace,” said Rind maintaining that blocking roads isn’t the solution to this problem.
He also vowed that perpetrators of Hazar Ganji blast shall be dealt with strong hands.
Sharing views on the development of Kachi Canal project provincial, he added the prime minister during public rally in Naseerabad pledged Kachi Canal phase II and III for people of Balochistan and the government is now also hoping to acquire foreign investments for the project.
Answering a query regarding Quetta Safe City Project he said the provincial government has been working on the project but wants to ensure that the project is up to modern day standards and provide maximum facilities to the people.
“The project needs to be handled with responsibility because the billions of rupees invested in it shouldn’t be wasted.”
