Production Increase: Farmers urged to take measures

Since Pakistan’s inception, cultivated area had doubled, and production of major crops had increased six times.

FAISALABAD: The Director General Agriculture (Extensions and Adaptive Research) Dr Anjum Ali urges farmers to take measures to increase per acre production. Addressing a workshop arranged by the Department of Agronomy, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) in collaboration with the Society of Young Agronomists on Thursday, Ali said that since Pakistan’s inception, cultivated area had doubled, and production of major crops had increased six times due to knowledge being transferred into goods and services.
