Lack of physicians in rural areas

Moreover, many diseases tend to spread like this, as they are not contained in one place

TURBAT, BALOCHISTAN: The provision of health services is one of the fundamental rights of every citizen irrespective of their financial status or whether they live in an urban or a rural area. The government is bound by law to provide basic health facilities, in order for the people to live a healthy life. Our healthcare system is in a shambles, especially in the rural areas. Urban areas are still better off as there are a number of government hospitals, and doctors readily opt to serve in major cities. Rural areas, especially villages like Dasht, are deprived of even a simple dispensary, and doctors are direly needed to serve in rural areas. By failing to provide healthcare, the government is depriving the people of their right. People often have to travel for hours to reach a hospital in a bigger town or city, and often suffer because of the delay in treatment. Moreover, many diseases tend to spread like this, as they are not contained in one place.
