Rain comes as blessing for crops

MULTAN: Different cities of Punjab received moderate to heavy rainfall, Express News reported on Friday. The rainy spell lashed Multan, Bahawalpur, Vehari, Dera Ghazi Khan and other areas.

The rain significantly reduced the temperature and people stepped out in their droves to enjoy the cool breeze. However, main roads in different cities were submerged in rainwater, exposing the poor planning of civic bodies. People faced severe difficulty while commuting as district administrations failed to drain out the accumulated rainwater.
