Pakistan to compete in West Asia Baseball Cup

Tournament is scheduled to take place in July

KARACHI:  

Pakistan has verified its participation in West Asia Ball Cup scheduled to take place in July in Sri Lanka.

In the six-day event being held in Colombo, teams from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Iran, Iraq, and Nepal will compete with each other.

West Asia Baseball Cup acts as qualifying round for Asian Baseball Championship.

World Baseball Classic Championship: History made as Pakistan book place in qualifiers

Pakistan Baseball Federation President Fakhar Ali Shah has said that for this important event the training camp for national players will be arranged in June, after the national championship.

National Baseball Championship has been scheduled from 10th June in Multan.
