KSF grants NUML Rs10m to improve institute

Korean embassy minister participates in the inauguration ceremony of infrastructure improvement of IKSI

Korean Embassy Minister Counselor Sang Seung-Man on Thursday visited National University of Modern Languages (NUML) to participate in the inauguration ceremony of infrastructure improvement of Islamabad King Sejong Institute (IKSI) established in NUML.

The NUML Director General (DG) Brig Muhammad Ibrahim, the varsity’s deans, directors, head of Korean department and IKSI Director Dr Atif Faraz, faculty members and a large number of students attended the ceremony.

The King Sejong Foundation (KSF) has given NUML Rs10 million for the implementation of this project. The minister counselor said that since the establishment of  diplomatic ties between Korea and Pakistan in 1983, the two nations together have successfully widened their cooperation in various fields.
