Model Mehreen Syed welcomes baby boy Ibrahim

Supermodel Mehreen Syed took to social media on Wednesday to announce the birth of her second child - a baby boy.

Sharing a picture of the tiny bundle of joy holding on to her finger, the starlet wrote, "By the grace and blessings of Allah, Ahmad and I would like to announce the birth of our baby boy Ibrahim." Her Instagram post further read, "Please remember Ibrahim and our family in your duas (prayers). Thank you."

Fans and industry insiders congratulated Syed and wished her family well. "MashaAllah. Congratulations to the whole family," and "MashaAllah, I cant wait to see your prince," stated fellow models Sunita Marshall and Mathira, respectively. Models Aneesa Sharif and Sadaf Kanwal, among others, also congratulated Syed.

One user wrote, "MashaAllah MashaAllah. Many congratulations! May Almighty Allah bless the beautiful baby with luck, heart, health, wealth and a successful long life. Ameen," while another stated, "MashaAllah, bohot mubarak ho. Allah lambi umar aur sehat de. (May Allah give a long, healthy life). Ameen."

Mehreen tied the knot with Ahmed Humayun Sheikh back in 2013 and the couple already has a five-year-old daughter, Aman.
