QUETTA: At least three people were killed and eight others injured in different incidents across Balochistan on Wednesday.

As per details, two people of the same family died after the walls of their home collapsed in Pahari Muhalla area of Loralai Town while another relative suffered severe injuries. Soon after the incident rescuers reached the site and shifted the dead bodies and the injured person to a nearby hospital after being retrieved from debris.

The deceased were identified as Maulana Akhtar, Aziz Ullah and injured as Peer Muhammad.

Meanwhile, a six-year-old boy was killed while his brother sustained serious injuries after being hit by a water tanker in Quetta.

As per police, two sons of Rashid Khan were playing outside home located in FGS Colony, when a speeding water tanker hit them, as a result one of them identified as Ghulam Hussain died on the spot while his brother Akbar Khan suffered serious wounds.

After receiving information, the local police reached the site and shifted both to a nearby hospital, where the body was handed over to bereaved family after completion of medico-legal formalities.

Following the incident, the police nabbed tanker driver and lodged a case against him, while further investigation is underway.

Moreover, another six people were injured in a clash between two transporter groups in the Usta Muhammad area of district Naseerabad.

As per sources, two groups of transporters Mengal and Shwani clashed over a route permit issue and attacked each other with sticks.

As a result six people identified as Habib Ullah, Zain Ullah, Aziz Ullah, Ajmal Khan, Zaheer Ahmed and Hazar Khan suffered severe wounds. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. The local police are investigating into the mater.
