LAHORE: A high profile business delegation from Czech Republic, including the Czech commerce minister will visit Pakistan to explore trade and investment opportunities and pave way for joint ventures, announced Commercial Attaché of Czech Republic Michal Bobek.

While speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Monday, the commercial attaché highlighted that a high profile Czech delegation was visiting Pakistan after more than a decade. He emphasised that strong linkages between business communities of the two nations would enhance the bilateral trade volume.

“The Czech business community wants to engage with Pakistani counterparts for business contracts, joint ventures and to explore investment opportunities,” he said. “The first step is to connect the people of both the states.”

Bobek added that Czech Republic exports high quality electrical goods, transformers, generators and heavy vehicles and also possessed expertise in chemicals and technical education sectors.
