KARACHI: Ali Zafar's Teefa in Trouble has seen a rather successful run. With the comedy-action film garnering a whopping Rs2.5 million on its opening day, it's safe to say the film broke the box office.
What's interesting is that Teefa in Trouble managed to do this even though it did not release during the holiday period. The Ahsan Raheem directorial released in July 2018, making it Pakistan's biggest non-holiday grosser of all times.
With so much success, it comes as no surprise that Ali is gearing up towards a sequel. That's right! The Channo singer recently announced this news during an Iflix gathering which was held in celebration of the film's success. “Let’s do Teefa in Trouble 2,” he had stated to which Ahsan responded, "Yes, let’s do it.”
