CDA to auction commercial, residential plots

The auction will be held at the Jinnah Convention Centre and will conclude on April 11

ISLAMABAD: To boost its flagging coffers, the top civic agency of the federal capital will hold a four-day auction of residential and commercial plots in the city from Monday (today).

The auction, organised by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), will be held at the Jinnah Convention Centre and will conclude on Thursday, April 11.

To ensure transparency in auction proceedings, a committee headed by CDA’s Member Finance will supervise the auction proceedings.

During the first two days of the auction, residential plots located in developed sectors will be put up for auction while commercial plots of different categories, including plots in the coveted Blue Area, hospitals and class–III shopping centres in developed sectors will also be auctioned on April 10 and April 11.
