No rift with CM Kamal: Hassani

The finance minister also dismissed rumours of budget lapse

QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Finance Mir Mohammad Arif Mohammad Hassani has refuted rumours of a rift between him and Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan Alyani, assuring that all provincial ministers are united under Kamal’s leadership.

The provincial minister while speaking to a private news agency reiterated his stance of eliminating all sorts of corrupt practices from the finance department.

“There is no reality in the rumors of split between me and the chief minister,” he said refuting ongoing rumours of cracks in the provincial capital. Hassani further called Jam Kamal the true leader of Balochistan adding only a leader like the incumbent chief minister can improve the province’s conditions.

Meanwhile, the finance minister also dismissed rumours of budget lapse adding that Rs100 million have been allocated for the development of each district.

“The people of Balochistan are benefiting under the leadership of CM Kamal,” said Hassani claiming more reforms would soon be brought in the finance department to ensure funds are being utilised in right direction and initiatives will also be taken to remove corruption from the province.
