3G and 4G networks

Letter April 07, 2019
The impact of this is mostly felt by our student

TURBAT: 3G and 4G are the wireless mobile telecommunication networks of the new generation and every country has access to it, including Pakistan. However, people in Turbat do not have the option of availing these networks as the facility is not offered here yet. According to recent news, China and the United States are competing with each other to be the first ones to launch 5G services in the world. Unfortunately, our telecommunication service providers are still not able to provide the service to the entire country, and considerable remote areas are not prioritised either. The impact of this is mostly felt by our students, who lag behind in their university assignments as they do not have a stable wireless network service, and 3G and 4G will provide this much-needed service. It is my request to the Chief Minister of Balochistan to help our students by providing them with this service which is imperative for education in today’s day and age.
