Pricing Penance: Two departmental stores fined
The raiding team fined the owners of both departmental stores Rs60,000 each
FAISALABAD:
Two departmental stores were fined on account of overcharging and profiteering on Wednesday. A city district government spokesperson said that special price control magistrate Riaz Husain Anjum conducted several raids in D-Ground Peoples Colony and found two department stores overcharging daily use items by nearly 50 per cent. The raiding team fined the owners of both departmental stores Rs60,000 each, and issued a warning in this regard.
