Campus Conflict: PU students protest against IJT

LAHORE: Dozens of Punjab University students staged a protest in front of the vice chancellor’s office against Islami Jamiat Taliba (IJT) members abusing some female students in New Campus as well as beating up a male student in geology department few days back.  IJT New Campus nazim, Adnan Rathore and a supporter Abrar, misbehaved with some female students on the New Campus Main Corridor after which the students marched up to the VC office. Last week, a student of geology department was severely beaten by IJT activists for sitting with his female class fellows.
