Coursebooks

Students are forced to buy books online, which are often expensive

TURBAT: The unavailability of coursebooks is a major issue in Turbat, the second biggest city of Balochistan. Students suffer from multiple issues and hardships as they cannot easily access the coursebooks required for their college and university. Students are often forced to visit Karachi, Quetta and other major cities of Pakistan for availing books for subjects such as Law, Psychology, Science, History, and Economics.

Some are forced to order their books online, but they are very expensive and everyone cannot afford them. As a student of Law, I have suffered a lot due to this, as even Turbat does not have books available that easily. As a last resort, students often photocopy books, which is very expensive as well.

To solve this, a book and stationery store can be established in Turbat that can cater to students of nearby areas for a low price, to assist students that are already struggling for an education.
