Girls clinch top spots in scholarship exams

Federal Directorate of Education announces scholarship examination results of grade V and VIII

ISLAMABAD:
The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has announced the scholarship examination results of grade V and VIII.

Ministry of Education Parliamentary Secretary Wajiha Akram, distributed prizes and shields amongst the position holders. On this occasion, she recalled that to convert Islamabad’s educational institutions into a role model was the topmost priority of the government.

The first three positions were secured by girls.

In the eight class results, the first position was secured by Darosham Khan and Amna Ghaffar from Model College F-6 attaining 670 marks while the second and third positions were secured by Dur-e-Shehwar and Yamna Sajjal from Model College G-9/3 who secured 665 and 664 marks respectively.


The first three positions were secured by students from Islamabad Model College for Girls F-81. Zara Zulfiqar, Pishfa Arshad, and Arisha Shahid scored 580,579 and 578 marks respectively.

Further, around 94.65% for grade V and 90.86% for Grade VIII was the passing percentage of both classes collectively.

Moreover, Minstry of Education Parliamentary Secretary Wajiha Akram, distributed prizes and shields amongst the position holders. On this occasion, she recalled that to convert Islamabad’s educational institutions into a role model was the topmost priority of the government. She expressed that private educational institutions have their due role in the provision of educational facilities in the country.
