QUETTA: The provincial government will soon introduce new training courses for teachers and professors for developing the education sector of the province.

“The government of Balochistan has decided to introduce new training courses for teachers and professors in order to bring educational development in the province,” said Higher Education and Colleges Secretary Abdul Saboor Kakar during a ceremony on Friday.

The secretary stressed that well-trained educational staff could play an important role in fostering education in their institutions, therefore, teachers and principals were being appointed on merit.

Teachers of private schools demand pay raise

He said, “We have started appointing teachers and principals on merit, which would yield positive results in the province”.
Kakar underscored the need for training courses for teachers and professors. He urged the staff to strive to promote educational and co-curricular activities.

“We have to win parents’ trust toward government educational institutions,” said the secretary.
