Gang of robbers injures three

KARACHI: Three members of a family were injured during a robbery bid at a house in North Karachi on Wednesday. According to police sources, a gang of three armed robbers broke into a house in North Karachi and held the residents at gunpoint. The police said the robbers shot three residents when the family attempted to resist. The injured were Naveed, 33, and his wife Kiran, 29, and their two-year-old son Qamar Naveed. The suspects escaped after ransacking the house. A police team reached the scene after receiving information of the incident and began collecting evidence. The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
