ANF arrests two, recovers drugs

The approximate value of the recovered drugs in the international market is Rs13 million

The Sindh Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested two accused in separate raids on Wednesday and recovered huge quantity of drugs from their possession. According to sources, in an intelligence-based operation conducted near Bismillah Quetta Zamzam Hotel, Mujahid Colony, Nazimabad an accused was arrested and 22.8kg of hashish was recovered from his possession. In another raid, the ANF team during checking at Jinnah International Airport arrested a drug trafficker after recovery of 0.95kg of methamphetamine from his luggage. Accused Mumtaz Ali had hidden the drugs in coconuts and was travelling to Saudi Arabia. The approximate value of the recovered drugs in the international market is Rs13 million. Cases have been registered and further investigations have also begun.
