Apparel park declared special zone 

Assured the business community of government’s full support

LAHORE: The government has declared the Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park (QAAP) as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) where one-window facility will be provided to local and foreign investors, announced Punjab Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment Mian Aslam Iqbal. Inaugurating the One-Window Service Centre on Tuesday, he pointed out that this modern industrial estate would create up to 600,000 jobs besides opening new avenues for young and new entrepreneurs as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He was of the view that the SEZ would play a vital role in bringing prosperity to Pakistan. Iqbal elaborated that QAAP would have a power grid station, underground electricity network, dedicated interchange and state-of-the-art amenities. He assured the business community of government’s full support for setting up new industrial units in Punjab.
