Two-way flights from Lahore to Islamabad and flights from Karachi to Multan PK-580 and PK-581 also departed as per schedule.

Flights have also been resumed for Bahawalpur, Raheem Yar Khan and Dera Ghazi Khan.

Flights from Sialkot will resume from March 28, after necessary repairs are carried out on the Sialkot airport runway.

The national carrier, due to the closure the air space, was offering transport facility to passengers departing from cities to the flights of other cities.

Pakistan partially restores airspace after hours-long closure

Earlier in February, The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced partially restoring the country’s airspace after keeping it closed for several hours following Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) encounter with the Indian fighter jets along the Line of Control (LoC) on Wednesday.

The Civil Aviation Authority had earlier declared an aerial emergency, saying Pakistani airspace is closed until further notice.

All local and international commercial flights were suspended following escalating tension between India and Pakistan.
