Benazir’s Birth Anniversary: Blood drives held in Peshawar
A large number of PPP workers and members of the public came to LRH and Khyber Teaching Hospital to donate blood.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had arranged a blood drive at Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) in connection with Benazir Bhutto’s birth anniversary, where a number of PPP MPAs, party workers and members of the general public donated blood. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Finance Minister Hamayun Khan and former Peshawar District Nazim Azam Khan Afridi were among those who visited LRH and donated blood on Tuesday. After inaugurating the blood camp established by PPP-K-P at Lady Reading Hospital, the Finance Minister visited the medical ward before donating blood. Speaking on the occasion, the PPP leaders said the day is a reminder of the sacrifice of the slain former prime minister. They appreciated the work done by the organisers of the camps. A large number of PPP workers and members of the public came to LRH and Khyber Teaching Hospital to donate blood.
