Power Cuts: Residents protest 16-hr load-shedding
The lack of electricity has caused shortages in water and flour
PINGRIO:
Residents from over 300 villages near Pingrio held a demonstration against the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) to protest power cuts on Tuesday. Hesco increased the length of the rolling blackouts to 16 hours a day in villages. The lack of electricity has caused shortages in water and flour, as mills and pumps could not work.
