Pakistan Super League (PSL) fever is in full swing. As the final is fast approaching, fans are full of excitement and adding to this exhilaration is news of singer Nazia Hassan being honoured at the closing ceremony.

The late star's brother Zoheb Hassan recently took to Twitter to share the news, "I am pleased to offer our song Dosti to PSL. It will feature along with Disco Deewane as a special Tribute to my (late) sister Nazia Hassan at the PSL Closing Ceremony in Karachi."

The singer had previously slammed the organisation for copyright infringement as they used Disco Deewane without permission at the opening ceremony. The hit song was performed in Dubai by Aima Baig and Shuja Haider. “I was shocked to see that a reputable platform like PSL used our track Disco Deewane without our prior permission," Zoheb had tweeted. "Outright infringement of intellectual property should be condemned and I am going to take a legal stand on this one !”

This time, Zoheb has specifically given PSL the rights to use the songs for their event.

In an earlier interview with The Express Tribune, Zoheb addressed rumours of a biopic on Nazia.  “A lot of people came to me saying that they want to make a film on Nazia but my family has been very reluctant. It’s a very sensitive thing and Nazia is no more so she can’t represent herself,” he had said.
